In the latest monthly EV Talk webinar delivered on behalf of the FASTER Project, host Dr Euan McTurk is joined by Guinness World Record Holder Kevin Booker industry panellists from Ride Ember, Arnold Clark, Etrux, Lease Plan, East Lothian Council and Home Energy Scotland to discuss how organisations can best electrify their fleets to help reduce transport related carbon emissions.
Then panel addressed a series of questions put forward by Euan around procurement and finance options for fleet vehicles, the availability of suitable vehicles and charging infrastructure and whether driver feedback had an impact on the roll out of electric vehicles in the various organisations represented on the panel.
Panellists were also asked to provide their top tips for those considering their fleet electrification journeys while Sharon Digby, FASTER Project manager provided an update on the latest developments within the FASTER Project particularly around the progress on the infrastructure element of the initiative.
