What is your current vehicle and what do you think of it?
Tesla Model 3 SR+, it is fantastic – best car available under €90,000.

What do you consider to be the benefits of EV use?
The cars are faster, smoother and cleaner and the running costs are much less.

Are there any challenges to owning an EV?
High purchase costs, sponsored misinformation campaigns and FUD from fossil fuel companies, legacy auto and their sponsored media outlets. There are too many single points of failure with the existing infrastructure to support EV use. We need more charging hubs like those that Tesla have.

What advice would you give to drivers considering the suitability of Electric Vehicles?
Go for a test drive – ignore the warnings about range anxiety as they are no really applicable for 99% of people living on this island.

Any additional comments?
For home owners without driveways there is an urgent need for fast charging in urban areas for twice weekly top ups, or public on-street charging with the ability to charge overnight.
