What vehicle are you currently driving?
VW ID3 – it is a very good vehicle, dependable, decent range and some very useful technology.

Are there any challenges associated with EV ownership?
Limited charging network – my current battery size means that range anxiety isn’t a factor but delays at public charging points are still off-putting.

What are your thoughts on the existing infrastructure to support EV owners?
The public network is barely adequate now and it will be difficult to support a surge in EV ownership without a considerable increase in the infrastructure levels.

Go for it – if you like saving money in the long run.
