FASTER Project teases new electric vehicle film series launching this June

A short promotional trailer has dropped on the FASTER Project YouTube and social media channels, today, Tuesday 24th May in support of an upcoming series of electric vehicle focused films which have been produced to support motorists living in Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland who may be considering switching to zero emission vehicles over the coming months and years.

Produced by Generate Media and hosted by Ric Boullemier and Dr Euan McTurk, the films will follow the passionate EV enthusiasts as they explore ten of the most popular electric vehicles available to motorists today across a range of segments and price points. The films will feature both passenger and commercial options, new and used vehicles with models including the popular Tesla Model S, Nissan Leaf, Kia’s EV6, Hyundai Ioniq 5, Honda E all making appearances.

Discussing the upcoming film series, presenter and director, Ric Boullemier said;

‘We are absolutely buzzing to be working with the FASTER Project team and Dr Euan McTurk to bring this series of electric vehicle films to the masses’

Looking forward to the launch of the films, presenter Dr Euan McTurk, added;

‘This series is all about getting people into Electric Vehicles and showing them that there is a broad selection of EVs out there and our intention is to show ten of the best new and used examples, everything from tiny city cars up to big-sturdy vans.’

The team has carefully selected a range of vehicles to feature that will meet the needs of many different motorists living in Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. We would also like to extend our thanks to the team at the Arnold Clark Innovation Centre in Glasgow for their invaluable assistance throughout production on the film series.

The FASTER Project has received €6.47 million funding under the European Union’s INTERREG VA programme will install 73 rapid charging stations (50KW +) across the programme regions. Match-funding for the project has also been provided by the Department for Infrastructure in Northern Ireland and the Department for Transport in Ireland, as well as Transport Scotland.
